Dear Barbara Brizes and All Those Employed By Brizes,
I am not the kind of person that will sit down and write a testimonial. I felt if I'm Happy with a product, fine, if I'm not, I will let you know. But when it comes to one of our family members I have to respond, because Buddy is like my fourth son. He not only shows his love for us, he protects his home, protects his family, and I know he would give his life for any of us. So when it comes to entrusting a total stranger to take care of your pet for six days, it is really like taking one of your children to a stranger.
Every day we were on vacation Buddy was always on my mind, I hope he's being feed properly, I hope someone is playing with him, ( he loves to run and play ), I hope he is sleeping well Etc. But after picking him up all of that worrying was for nothing. When we put Buddy in the back seat of my truck, I slide open the rear window, he likes to look out. Upon pulling out of your driveway he jumped up on the seat, stuck his head out the window looked back and started to whimper, as though to say see you later my friends. As I have told my sons when you know you are going to see someone again, you never say goodbye, you always say, I'll see you later. Well I've got to tell you, you will definitely see us again my friends. We were so pleased with the professionalism of your Operation and your Staff, from the time we walked through the door, till the time we came to pick Buddy up. We were greeted with smiles and open arms, you wanted to know how much and when to feed him, just like a child and we are grateful. That night Buddy just laid down on the floor and slept so peacefully, he was worn out. There is even relaxing music playing out side, you don't even get that at some Motels you stay at. I HIGHLY recommend this Kennel to anyone who is looking to board there Pet. We are very pleased and will be seeing you in the future my Friends.
P.S. I would suggest that you at least have the bath and nail trim before picking up your Pet, we did, and it was well worth it. Please feel free to post this on your sight, as I feel other people have the same concerns as we did.
Sincerely Your Friends,
Robert, Elizabeth, Rob, Brandon, Nicholas and Buddy Fulmer
Dear Brizes and Staff,
We are sending our deep felt thanks to all of you for your care and compassion towards Oscar and Casper. Our photo album is wonderful and so appreciated. Again thank you all,

Dear Brizes Staff and Family:
I just wanted to write and tell you what a first-class operation you are running at Brizes Kennel. I did extensive research and drove 45 minutes out of my way to board my dogs with you years ago. They're old (12 and 15) and spoiled now; they now get a pet sitter when I go out of town. But I still recommend Brizes, and only Brizes, to anyone who asks for a kennel recommendation.
Recently we had an opportunity to use your board and train services. My boyfriend's German Shepherd, Cecil, stayed at Brizes. All I can say is: WOW! Not only is she obeying the 'No' command consistently and has all but stopped jumping and mouth play, she is also just an all around more calm and confident girl now. She sits at the door now and waits to be let out instead of barging out the back door now. Amazing!
I would strongly advise anyone who is thinking of the board and train service to just DO IT!! I was honestly skeptical that anyone could address Cecil's issues in such a short period of time and wondered if it was worth the money. But it turned out to be a bargain and a great learning experience for us.
Again, thank you!

Dear Brizes Kennel -
Bailey is the first dog I've ever boarded and I was very anxious about leaving him in someone else's care. I wasn't sure if he would get adequate exercise and I was afraid he would be bored and lonely. Thanks to the wonderful photo book, I now know that my worrying was for nothing. Bailey had a blast going for walks, running around the play yards and, of course, sitting on the tractor!! Now I don't worry at all when I leave him with you because I know he is well-cared for - he is actually tired when I pick him up! I look forward to getting another photo book this summer so I can see him playing in the pool. The photo books are a wonderful way to experience Bailey's vacation while I'm on vacation!
Thanks again!

Dear Brizes Staff and Family:
On behalf of Maggie (typing is a bit hard for her), Kip and I would like to extend our most heartfelt thanks to you and everyone at the kennel for the love and care you gave our baby while we went to Hawaii. At this point, we're still not sure who had a better time- Maggie or us! The photobook you sent to us was a perfect remembrance of such a great time for her! (And I still can't believe you coaxed her in the pool!) I think what means the most to us is that you accepted Maggie with open arms, regardless of her breed status. Being mixed with Boxer and Pit Bull often leads to discrimination and prejudice. I am so grateful that you and your staff were able to look beyond the misconstrued reputation of her breed and gave her a fair chance. Anyone who spends more than 3 minutes with her realizes what a lover she is (and a great kisser, too!). Thank you for your generosity and kindness; I know I can count on your kennel to provide a safe, loving environment for Maggie when we are out of town.
Sincerely,
Kip and Beth Patterson
Hi Barb, I wanted to tell you that my dog has passed away. My Maggie wasn't there last summer but was there for at least 10 years previous. We always receive Christmas cards from Brizes so I thought I would let you
know. Maggie Stibrik passed away this past Wednesday. Maggie was a German Shepherd and always came in July with my sister's dog Chester Ackerman (who also recently passed). Needless to say, we are devastated. We also lost my father in October which I am sure affected Maggie tremendously (as well as us).
But I wanted to thank you for all of the great care you always gave us. It was a comfort to go away and know that my Maggie was well taken care < BR>of and waiting anxiously for us when we got home. Maybe we will see you some time in the future. Thanks again.
Mary Stibrik
This is just a note to say thank you for your quality boarding/kennel services. My wife and I boarded our Sheltie ("Sophie") at your location during the weekend of Sept 23-25, 2005 so we could visit with our son at California Univ of PA.
We had been a little nervous and concerned about boarding our Sheltie over that weekend since our prior and only boarding experience with a local Veterinary Clinic in Virginia did not go well; and we were coming from out of town (we live in Fairfax, VA) and had not used your kennel previously.
Your services and staff were excellent. Sophie's experience was good and I plan to use your kennel again in the future when we return to the Pittsburgh area.
Please express my appreciation to your staff. Thank you.

Dear Barb and Ron,
We just wanted to thank you for all that you and your staff do at Brizes Kennels. You make a family operation a family oriented concern...taking care of all of us, not just our canine or feline family members. As you well know, we've had Bailey "vacation" with you many times, she"s gone through your obedience school and we have her groomed there. David, your groomer, is terrific. The opportunities you provide for Bailey... nature walks, play time and now... swimming!? Okay, Bailey didn't take to the water very well, but you patiently tried and gracefully accepted her decision not to pursue.
A few things about Bailey that you may not know.
- She has many, (we're talking MANY) toys, all of which are played with throughout the day... all of which we put aside at the end of the day.
- Bailey loves to go for rides. When I ask her if she wants to go for a R-I-D-E, she runs to the door.
- When she senses that we are about to go to our lake home, she runs back and forth, barking wildly, tail a-wagging.
- And... when we are ready to leave for a trip and I tell her she's going to stay at Brizes...no hang-dog looks for her!....She runs to her toy pile and rummages for just the right toy, then runs to her leash, barking excitedly and wagging her tail. Once in the car and on the way she holds her toy, wags her tail and watches out the window. When we turn off onto Roberts Hollow Road, she knows absolutely and really seems like a happy little child.
We have watched this over and over again... and never does her behavior cease to amaze us. I have to admit, I do get a little hurt when she happily takes off with one of your staff and doesn't even bother to look back at me. I get my comfort knowing that she is in the best place with the most caring of people.
Again, thank you so much.
As always, Ron and Karen Campbell
